Take a stroll through the Gardens with Wellfield’s Executive Director and Horticulture Managers as they share the stories behind some of Wellfield’s woody plants! We’re delighted to invite you to this exclusive program designed just for select friends of the Gardens, like you. 

The program will begin in the Visitors Center with a discussion of the variety of trees and shrubs featured in the Gardens. After that you'll head out to the trails to see them for yourself! As you move through different areas, you’ll explore how and why particular species were chosen for their locations and what roles they play in the landscape. Along the way, the conversation will weave through wildlife value, ornamental appeal, cultural connections, and everyday care practices like pruning and maintenance.
