Thanks to support from the Community Foundation of Elkhart County, we are able to offer free admission to Elkhart County residents (up to a $10 value per person) every Tuesday! If you are not an Elkhart County resident, or do not provide proof of residency, you will be subject to admission fees.
Free Drop-In Programs — September 1st
- 10-11 a.m. Bird Walk (ages 13+)
- Led by Wellfield Volunteer and Audubon Society member, Mary Kaufmann-Kennel. Meet in the Visitors Center before taking a stroll to look for birds in the Gardens.
- 11-11:30 a.m. Little Sprouts (Geared towards preschoolers)
- This activity focuses on nature, animals, and plants found in the Gardens. Stories and activities will vary each week.
- 12-1 p.m. Wellness Walks led by Beacon Health (ages 13+)
- Stacey Deshone-Fisher, educator at Beacon Health and Fitness, will lead guests on a guided walk around the Gardens focused on health and wellness tips, tricks, and practices.
If you plan to attend any drop-in programming, please let staff know when you check in at the Visitors Center. All drop-in programs are weather permitting. Please keep an eye on our website for updates or call (574) 266-2006 ext. 105 if you have any questions.
