In this beginner-friendly leather workshop led by Undercover Popular Leather Goods, you’ll craft your own 4" leather plant cozy—designed to turn even the humblest greenery into a tiny statement piece. You’ll learn foundational leatherworking skills while creating something genuinely useful (and undeniably charming).

Your instructor will guide you step-by-step through cutting, shaping, and assembling your cozy, then it’s time to make it yours! Add color, hardware, or decorative details that feel like you. No experience needed, just a willingness to try something new and leave with something beautiful.

Each participant will take home one finished cozy and a new houseplant to wear your craft! All supplies are included in the workshop cost. This class is recommended for ages 13+. All minors must be accompanied by a registered adult. The class will take place in our indoor Cottage Classroom.

Stroll past the charming English Cottage Garden, where timeless flowers and herbs mingle in perfect harmony, and explore the artfully designed Island Garden, a serene retreat filled with color, texture, and inspiration. Along the way, you’ll uncover how herbs have been used for centuries - for flavor, fragrance, and wellness - and how each plant contributes to the Garden’s unique ecosystem.

The adventure culminates in a hands-on activity: crafting your very own take-home simmer pot blend or sugar scrub. This keepsake captures the essence of Wellfield Botanic Gardens, allowing you to carry a bit of the garden’s magic with you long after your visit. Whether you’re an herb enthusiast, a garden lover, or simply seeking a sensory escape, The Herbal Adventure is an unforgettable experience that nourishes the senses and sparks inspiration at every step.

Join Joy Blooms at Wellfield Botanic Gardens for a hands-on floral workshop designed for beginners and flower enthusiasts alike. In August, summer is at its peak, and the Gardens are overflowing with color, texture, and fresh-cut inspiration. From bold blooms to airy greenery, late-summer flowers are ready for their moment in the spotlight.

Ever bring home a bundle of blooms and wonder how to make them shine? This workshop will guide you through simple design tips and care techniques to help your arrangement look intentional, balanced, and long-lasting. Come soak up the beauty of the Gardens and leave with a bouquet that captures the warmth and abundance of late summer.
