Create your own beautiful stained glass honeycomb piece in this beginner-friendly workshop! Nancy, from Kay's Glass Studio, will guide you through the basics of stained glass, including how to foil and solder glass while assembling a charming honeycomb design. Students will be able to choose from a variety of glass colors to make their piece uniquely their own. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a finished honeycomb sun catcher and the foundational skills to continue exploring the art of stained glass.

All materials and tools are provided, and no prior experience is necessary.

The class will take place in our indoor Cottage Classroom. For safety, please plan to wear closed toed shoes and long pants. This class is intended for ages 16+. All minors must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Join us for a fun and relaxed painting party led by Jaxy’s Treasures! This class welcomes both adults and children. You'll choose from two creative painting options, no experience is necessary, just come ready to unwind and have fun.

With step-by-step instruction, visual guides, and plenty of encouragement along the way, you’ll feel supported from start to finish. Set in a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere, this is the perfect opportunity to get creative, try something new, and enjoy the process!

Each participant will take home 1 finished piece. All supplies are included in the workshop cost, please feel free to bring an apron from home if you'd like. This class is recommended for ages 6+. Children must be able to paint independently and follow instructions. All minors must be accompanied by a registered adult.

The experience will take place in our covered Outdoor Classroom. Please dress for the weather. If there is inclement weather, the class may be rescheduled or moved to an indoor location. You will be notified by email of any changes.

Learn how to build your own bird house from just a slab of clay! In this two session course, an instructor from the Elkhart Art League will teach you the basics of slab hand building—rolling out your slab of clay, applying texture to your slab, using templates to create your forms, decorating your bird house to create your own style, and the final step of glazing your piece. 

This course takes place on two separate Saturdays, June 20th and July 11th. When you sign up, you're in for both sessions! Students will take home one finished bird house one week after the second session. All supplies are included in the workshop price, please feel free to bring an apron from home if you'd like.
