Ever wondered how to care for your spring flowering shrubs? We've got the class for you! In this "walk and talk" format class, Wellfield's Horticulture Operations Manager Cody Hoff and Public Horticulture Manager Kyle Strain will go through the spring shrub care including: fertilizing, timing of pruning, and how to prune them. On a walk through the Gardens, they will focus on different types of hydrangeas, roses, and azaleas. There will also be time for questions and discussion of other spring flowering shrubs during the class.
With Cody and Kyle's guidance, you'll gain the confidence and skills you need to care for your shrubs on your own.
This class includes admission to the Gardens and is $8 for Wellfield members / $10 for public adults. Registration required; space is limited. 18+ only, please. This class will take place outdoors; please dress for the weather.
Wellfield members: to receive your discount, you must be registered on our site and logged in. The discount will appear on the second page, after you've added the class to your cart.
