Ring in the new year by creating a wall clock of your own design! In this two session course, an instructor from the Elkhart Art League will teach you how to hand build a wall clock made from entirely from clay. 

In the first session, you will learn the basic hand-building techniques needed to create your clock. You will have the opportunity to add texture, shape it as you wish, decorate it, and number the hours (or not!). The design is up to you and instructors will assist you in making your creation come to life. You will have your choice of style for the clock hands that best fit your design.

In the second session, you will complete the final step of glazing your clock and a week later your masterpiece will be ready to pick up! No previous pottery experience is necessary. 

This course takes place on two separate Saturdays, January 3rd and January 17th. When you sign up, you're in for both sessions! All supplies are included in the workshop price, please feel free to bring an apron from home if you'd like. 

The classes will take place in our Visitors Center Great Hall. Please dress comfortably and plant to get a little messy. This class is intended for ages 18+. 

Registration is required; space is limited! Cost for the 2 session course is $60 for Wellfield members, $75 for the public. This class is non-refundable.
