Discover something new in this fun, hands-on cultural experience! Your host, LaMonte Heflick, a Certified Saké Professional and tea enthusiast, will guide you through sampling three types Chinese teas while you learn about the rich history of each. 

The Chinese teas will be served Gong Fu style 功夫茶 and will feature:

• Gāoshān chá 高山茶 (Taiwan high mountain tea)
• Lǎo liù bǎo chá 老六堡茶  (tea aged for 40 years)
• Pu’er chá (Yunnan China tea)

LaMonte has rich experience with tea demonstrations and servings and has been featured at many local, regional, and even international establishments such as:

• Various Elkhart Community schools
• Apothica Teas in Niles
• Goshen's Memories of China Restaurant
• Spice and Tea Exchange in Valporaiso
• Sih Ye 四爺 teahouse in Taipei, Taiwan 
• Indiana Foreign Language Teachers Association in Indianapolis 

All supplies are included to participate in the workshop. Weather permitting, this class will take place in the Peace Garden and is intended for ages 18+.
